Well actually two somethings.
Which brings the my total number of red 1985 Honda Aeros to three
I think I might have a problem...

Is there any difference between an Aero and a Spree? I spent my fair share of time on a Honda Spree.

Yes, the Aero has a little more power and a CVT, on a good day I can get mine over 40mph.

Got it. I think the spree had a centrifugal and I could only get it a hair below 35.

You just planning to use them for spares, or do you hope to be able to fashion a working machine out of your two new purchases?

Well they both have centrifigul clutches, but the Spree is a straight belt drive while the Aero has a variator

I’ll know more once I tear into them a bit, I’m just happy to get two engine swaps with lower miles than mine for $30 apeice.
I hope to make an additional working one out of them, but no titles makes it nearly futile.

Posts like this still make me want to get my moto license and pick up a 150cc scooter! :)

A buddy of mine had the aero growing up and I got the elite 80. I would still have it had someone not stolen it out of the backyard at my moms.

Do it! Depending on your mechanical aptidude, you can occasionally pick them up for pocket money. I bought my “good” one for $100 last year and used it to commute all summer.

Oh man sorry to hear that. I guess it is pretty easy to steal something the average person can pick p and walk away with.
Also, two strokes are better ;)
